SAPIA Medical is a scheduled, concierge telehealth practice. Messages sent through our patient portal or website are not monitored continuously and should not be used to report a medical emergency. We strive to return patient messages within 24 business hours.
SAPIA Medical provides care for perimenopause, menopause, hormone therapy, and medical weight management. We do not provide emergency, urgent, or in-person exam dependent care.
"Site" means the SAPIA Medical website located at https://www.sapiamedical.com, including all pages, subdomains, and content made available there.
"SAPIA," "we," "us," or "our" means Sapia Medical, PLLC, which operates the Site.
"You" or "user" means any person who accesses or uses the Site.
These Terms of Use are separate from, and do not replace, SAPIA's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, Informed Consent forms, or any other clinical or patient facing document you may sign in connection with SAPIA's telehealth services. Those documents govern your care and your protected health information; these Terms govern only your use of this Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.
Browsing the Site, submitting a contact or intake form, or scheduling an appointment through a linked third party platform does not, by itself, create a doctor patient relationship with SAPIA Medical, PLLC, or with any physician affiliated with SAPIA. A doctor patient relationship is established only as described in SAPIA's Physician Patient Relationship & Good Faith Examination Disclosure, provided separately at the time of a scheduled clinical encounter.
Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for individualized evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician, and you should not rely on it for that purpose.
The Site is not monitored for emergencies and messages submitted through the Site are not reviewed in real time. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use the Site to seek emergency care.

SAPIA does not treat patients under 18 and does not knowingly direct the Site to, or collect personal information from, individuals under 18. The Site may link to, or embed access to, third party services, including Healthie (for scheduling, secure messaging, and the patient portal) and diagnostic partners such as Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, or Get Labs. SAPIA does not control these third party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a linked or embedded third party service is governed by that service's own terms of use and privacy policy, not by these Terms.
All text, images, graphics, logos, and other content on the Site (“Content”) are owned by or licensed to SAPIA and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print Content for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works from any Content without SAPIA's prior written consent.

Any testimonials, patient stories, or descriptions of outcomes appearing on the Site reflect individual experiences and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or prediction that any other individual will achieve similar results. Individual results vary based on medical history, adherence to treatment, and other factors outside SAPIA's control.
This Terms of Use governs your general use of the Site. It does not describe how SAPIA collects, uses, or discloses protected health information; that is addressed in SAPIA's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, made available separately.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
